I don't think it will pose a problem long term. If Szczesny were to get injured too we'd probably be able to get a permission from Fifa to bring someone in. There are a couple of good keepers warming benches all around Europe who would jump at a loan opportunity.

Why the fuck was Ospina on the bench against Gala if he was injured? Wenger really is a tool.

He was not injured for the Galatasaray game if I understood Wenger correctly, but since he had to come in straight from the bench without any sort of warm up he aggravated his injury.

Players are usually sent to do just that every 25-30 minutes. Have no idea whether we do it, or if goalkeepers are exempt.

The gala match was almost over and the opposition were 4-nil down. Szczesny takes most of the blame for that injury, imo.
Maybe he should have taken a yellow by doing extra stretches before coming on but that's being wise after the event.

It sounds bad, surely if his tendonitis is that severe we must have had some idea of his condition in August?
If that's so it's another clear case of Wenger gambling big time on what he can do without.
