He's obviously extremely talented; very aware with the ball, outstanding weight of pass and very good close control and balance, but he's got a lot of shortcomings at the moment, too. He's very passive on the pitch, tends to let games pass him by, he's also weak and not currently as athletic as most of the kids he's playing with - although I suspect that might be where he has the most scope for improvement - he's also not good enough in the final third to really cut it as a Number 10 but not aggressive enough/lacks the work rate to really thrive deeper.
He's come on quite a bit this season; has more of an influence on games now, has shown more of his dribbling ability and has caught up somewhat physically. He's not a sure thing but I suspect there's a big, big player in there awaiting to come out. You can see his brain ticking quicker than everyone else's. I reckon when he fills out and gets that bit quicker and stronger, he'll make big strides forward. His first touch and weight of pass is a rare thing indeed.
