The vision this boy possesses is the stuff you build teams around. Looks to develop a powerful physique as well when he grows into his body. He turns 18 at the end of January, and I for one very much look forward to seeing how he progresses in the next 2 or 3 years.

he has some fantastic attributes and some he has to work on..i think he will be a late developer but an excellent player in the end

Late developer? How many 16 year olds do you know of who get to make their senior debut at clubs as big as ours? If anything, he is waaaay ahead in development. Was it also not Zelelem who put the first team players to shame last pre-season when it came to stamina?

But he's not yet super, Rex. If he's to be a great player (think Fabregas) then this giant leap will happen in his twenties. In that respect he could be a late bloomer - it's a development curve thing. That he's done very well as a 16 year old we all know - we saw it happen. We saw him toy with Shelvey and that Pool side, some nice passes in Asia tour - and then what? 18 months pause?Hope it does happen - it could still happen, but for now it's an "if". We need to see it happen.

fabregas who he was compared to, was already playing an important first team role at his age, but hes not even the best perfomer for the reserves, games often pass him by..yeah i think you are right about the stamina but he needs to bulk up, he is waay too weak for the premier league at the moment

from what i saw and read, he looks flawless individually but his decision making is suspect at times, often goes for himself instead of the team..maitland-niles currently looks like the most highly rated within the club

You gotta wonder what Akpom has to do in order to be included. He doesn't get loaned out, he doesn't get a whiff in the first team despite the fact that we have -1 strikers available. He's stuck in the reserves limbo.

Crowley is an immense talent.

You can't tackle him

He's a good dribbler. I think the issue with him which may have given Arteta some concern is his general team play and awareness/decision making.

If he's sorted that out he might just be the next good player to come out of the youth ranks.
