Diaby for most part, best player on the pitch. Hope he can stay fit, we might just need him.

Akpom with a brace. I love his speed. Not sure any other part of his game would hold up at senior level at the moment though.

Akpom is selfish but probably it's fine at this level. He is pretty decent with ball at feet but with back to goal he doesn't have enough strength right now, struggles at this level too.

Yup, he did. Didn't look as if he was in anything more than second gear, and still looked the best player on the pitch.

Hmm dules you seem like a big fan of Crowley. Is there a reason that zelalem is in the first team squad and not Crowley? Crowley seems to be doing better than him in the youth teams. Is it an age thing?

Not sure it's an age thing or anything to do with how long they've been at the club. Both are top talents but I think Zelalem has a more composed and safer game to Crowley. That and Crowley plays in a more advanced role where competition is fierce.

Crowley though is magic. I think he has the highest ceiling of all our prospects.

Ball seems to stick to his feet when he receives a pass, I consider that a good thing.

Is it just me or does he appear exceedingly one footed?

The more I see that kit concoction, the more I like it.

As for Crowley, he's clearly got a lot of ability with the ball at his feet. It's too early to pass judgement on whether he'll make it though. I remember how good Ryo looked a couple seasons back. Or how Aneke was technically perfect at 14. But neither made the step up.

Ryo never did it for me, had a couple of good games at Feyenoord. thats it.

Crowley looks decent, haven't seen much of him but the impression I got with some of the talk of him is that he's the next Wilshere. Doesn't look like he has that level of natural ability, early days still.

Ryo always looked like a #10 to me.

Ryo was never good enough to be a play-maker.
His only chance was to develop as an out and out winger and that's what he seemed to be doing in Holland but he is now rotting in our reserves and will never make it here, imo.
