Bielik's ability on the ball and passing range is decent for a centre midfielder: For a guy that is 6'3" he can dribble and has good touch. But move him back to centrback and his ability on the ball becomes elite for that position. He becomes a weapon in the build-up and someone that could be relied upon to pick the ball up from the keeper and consistently progress the play.
On top of that, he does turn slowly and is slow over the first few yards. No worse than most big, strong centrebacks, but a lot slower than most midfielders of a good level.
I didn't watch the game last night, but even though he played in midfield, I notice the most impressive stastistic posted above are his 9 clearances. And because of his size, stength and reading of the game when it's in front of him, he has become a wall in defence when his team is under pressure. He has other problems at centreback; he loses his man in behind sometimes and switches off in the box when players run off him, but they are less problematic than the problems he would face playing in midfield at the top level and can be overcome with experience. Being slow on the turn and lacking the agility to evade pressure are problems experience won't fix even if you can learn ways to allow for them over time.
