After breaking through jack has underwhelmed and not performed at the required level consistently enough partly down to him picking up injuries so easily. You'd expect a player of his experience to look good at that level but he hasn't done it for Arsenal in years. Lots of potential but much like recent arsenal squads unable to deliver on it.

For all of Wilshere's issues, I can't remember him actually looking poor when playing for Arsenal.

So who knows....give him a run out, where's a cup game when you need one?!

Wilshere is another one of those players who needs good players around him to work. That all-time great goal he scored v Norwich wouldn't have been possible without Giroud.

Have we seen him with Ozil for more than a few games at all?

him and ozil looked tasty togther in the middle of the 13-14 season. jack was playing wide right, with ozil at 10. i recall them linking up quite nicely at times, but it only lasted for a month or two

TBF i've also forgotten the details of that part of the season but i'm guessing it was the period of the failed Wilshere-Ramsey axis?
Even then i don't remember him dipping as low as some of our current midfield as we qualified for CL football that year.

Harsh as you are forgetting that his weak right foot can make a basic 10 yard pass to a teammate.

The big take-away from the clip is how much we will miss Sanchez. 🙁
