I think they'll grab at least two world class defenders this summer, yeah. Hummels for certain, which really puts me off because he'd dominate this league like there's no tomorrow.
I think they'll grab one or two midfielders too, and probably another striker since Falcao hasn't worked out. Strengthening all the way through the spine, in other words. I can't see us doing the same. We'll still be stuck with Per next season, we won't have a better striker than Giroud and we're not signing a keeper or a leftback. We'll pick up a good midfielder and it might be enough to get us involved in a fight over 3rd place, but we'll probably lose that fight. We don't have the money to compete with their spending power.
