Re analysing our squad.
Goalie wise we are more than covered. Szczesny isn't world class but he is more than decent enough for us. Fabianski and Viviano makes up a good trio of keepers, not neglecting the fact of Martinez's potential, who is once again shining in the reserves.
Defence wise, 2 very good left backs, 3 very good centrebacks who offers differently, and 2 good rightbacks. For long term wise, would be good that we bring in another rightback and move Sagna centrally, which is what Wenger seem to want given the failed Juanfran bid.
Midfield wise, totally covered in centre midfield, so many options there its unbelievable. We still have Diaby, Rosicky and Frimpong to come back and play. On the wings, we have Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski, Gnabry, Ox, Ryo. We are looking short there now because of injuries, but otherwise depending on the emergence of our 2 kids there we are fine. Ideally I would love to have another top player there though, someone like Reus would be perfect.
Striking wise, really short. Totally dependant on Giroud. Bendtner and Park is a non-option, hope they get sold in Jan. Sanogo and Akpom needs to be loaned out.
So in conclusion, we are a RB, a WF and CF short of a squad capable of competing on 4 fronts comfortably.
