Bit of an exaggeration there, don't you think Ricky? It's a very positive step in the right direction but let's celebrate real achievement when it is realised.

Thanks for that video. He looks wholly composed with the ball, perhaps a bit too keen on the long ball but overall some good stuff. One thing I have felt when watching him (albeit from a limited sample) is that his reading of the game is a tad questionable and I'd love to see him in a full 90 to assess that.

I thought he was very good. I could just as easily have said that. Think he gives our team more than most fans realise.

I agree with the last part, I guess I just feel that he's still nowhere near his best; it's a compliment if anything.

Well, hopefully there's more to come, but I think that was a pretty sublime performance on its own.

The touch and cross for Theo was outrageous, but there were moments right throughout the match where they couldn't get him near him. When fully-fit and firing, he really is a great player.

Hmm. His class hasn't been much use to us for most of his career though. I doubt anybody would dispute his quality, but this injury business is a problem. I hope his body can inspire some confidence over the next 4 months

With the ongoing brouhaha about sexism in football and the suspension of Sky duo Keys and Gray, I came across this youtube clip, and I must confess, I found it a bit funny as well.

😆 It is pretty terrible. The standard of women's football in England has increased significantly since then though, and it's certainly not thanks to guys like Gray and Keys.

Tbf, I played 5-a-side with twin girls in the late 90's-Karlie and Gemma Hunt-who were both on Millwall ladies' books at the time and they were quality footballers. Technically both really naturally gifted and skilfull, although they obviously struggled a bit with the more physical side of the game against men.

Looks very rusty, but there are some positive signs. His right foot looks much improved for example.

I didn't watch the game at all but he looks poor in that compilation.

Interesting he played on the right.

Looks really awkward on the ball, and like he's running in quicksand at times, but there was some real flashes of talent and class in there too.
