that blind football video is amazing. do the players wear bells as well? how do they know where they are? theres no way i could even know which way the goal was... incredible.

No bells but there is alot of shouting as I remember. Also, there is a tiny amount of visibility at the bottom of the facemask.

That one goes to show how wrong assuming those crosses v Chelsky were one-offs. Theo's crossing is generally very good- as long as he's not having one of his off days.

I think it's a bit of a leap to look at a few crosses in a 5 minute video and extrapolate that Theo's crossing is generally very good. It isn't. It's very hit or miss. He has sent in some awesome crosses, some of which have been fumbled by the likes of Gervinho and RvP, but he is more frequently either hitting the opposing left back or just sending crosses into an empty penalty box.

A high percentage of Theo's crosses are extremely good in my opinion and him not finding anyone hasn't got anything to do with the quality of the cross but the number of players that we have in the box. Not every cross that doesn't find a team mate is poor. Not every player at United crosses well but they usually have a lot of bodies in the box. If they don't win the header they atleast challenge the defence on most balls which leads to lose balls and scrappy goals and suddenly the crosses look good. Theo's crosses have pace and are generally in very good areas but unfortunately we just don't play in a way that we can benefit from it.

He's particularly good at playing that early ball in behind the defence, before they get close enough to goal for the keeper to claim it. He's the only player who does that in our squad. A dream for most centreforwards to work with when he stays out wide.

He linked very well with Chamakh in the early stages of last season if I remember correctly.

Lol at our sudden love for Theo's crossing. Even Szeczney knows he can't cross.

I think Theo´s crossing technique is pretty good, and he can whip good balls into the box. However, he still makes strange decisions on WHEN to cross, WHERE to aim to, and too many crosses get stranded on the first defender.

My favorite was still when he stopped danger in the box with Vermaelen and started talking about composure. Ask the boss, he´ll tell you... 😆

Walcott's not consistent in any aspect of his game. He was virtually unplayable against Chelsea but average to poor in the games since. It's the same with his crossing and finishing, you know he can put in a good ball or finish under pressure but he's liable to kick it in the crowd if he's not on form.

A cross is just like any other pass. There should be a target. Who the hell is he passing to if we don't have players in the box?
