That's what you want from an attacking central midfielder. He misplaced a few passes, but those misplaced balls were all in pursuit of a telling pass. And he made some awesome passes to Gervinho and Walcott. Very few midfielders are able to spray the ball like that, with a variety of through-balls on the grass, quarterback passes and lobs. He also puts in a shift defensively.
By the time Jack returns, I think we could be having that debate again about who is better. And that's a good thing.
