Can't believe we spent the whole summer chasing our own tail over a decent striker and now all the other clubs (united, dortmund, liverpool) show us how to deal with a player who wants to flex his muscles. Suarez never wanted us anyway, he's been angling for a move to Real but they never came in for him. Couple that with Liverpool's owner saying he'd never sell to us and Wenger's reluctance to pay more than he has to; there was always going to be one outcome.

Wouldn't be to sure either way, if he's definitely staying he'll do another interview in England. Gerrard is still talking about convincing him to stay so he hasn't told teamates he's planning on staying.

My personal suspiscion (based on nothing) is that he's decided it's all too much hassle now, and isn't that desperate to come here anyway (as opposed to, say, Real Madrid in 6 months' time).
