I want to see Park get a game next time Van Persie is rested. Can he possibly be worse than the alternatives?
Park will replace Rosicky in midfield when the Czech slots in on the wing and Djourou will replace Mertesacker up front as the backup plan to Robin. Him or Szczesny I reckon. We don't have many other tall alternatives now that Chamakh is injured.

Just watched the highlights for myself, Afobe looked sharp, has also bulked up big time since the summer. Benayoun looked like he's itching for a chance in the first team.

no arteta is what denilson's fans hoped he would become. i'm not a fan of that style, but if you're going to play with it then having someone like arteta play the role is highly preferred.
I've never been a fan of that role but has grown on me this season.. with the way this team formation is setup and like to venture forward and loose shape its a good idea to have midfielders sitting deep, were lacking the quality wingers & AM to go along with it.. Although its not really that effective against park the bus teams.

Best I've seen from Ozy thus far. It's a good sign he feels more at home among players of high level. Park's body language... oy.
