christ, can anyone in the organisation finish? pathetic.
no one who played in that match is going to make it at arsenal except maybe gnabry, who looks excellent. ebecilio won't. ozyakup is exactly the type of arsenal player i hate (not enough end product to be an AM, not enough defending to be a CM). yennaris is not good enough. i like eastmond but he'll do a sidwell. eisfeld, we'll see, but he seems like another rosicky/bischoff/merida/ozyakup type.
i'm curious to see aneke play against grown men.
Very harsh.
I've seen Chamberlain and Ryo play for us at reserve level a few times and you'd never dream they were capable of such a good level in proper, first team football. Barely did anything noteworthy at all.
There are a few in there with excellent pedigrees at youth level. Ebecilio was top scorer and won the 'Golden Player' award at last year's U17 European Championship playing as a holding midfielder for the Netherlands. Ozyakup has been the Netherlands' captain, 'Number 10' and best player through the various age groups which he has played. Martinez has already been called up to the full Argentina squad. And there are others, too, who have impressive records. The majority of them will go on to have good careers, no doubt about it.
On the subject of Chuks Aneke, might be a good chance to see him in the next round of the FA Cup. Spurs travel to Stevenage and Aneke should be in the team to face the scum.
(For the record, I don't see Ebecilio or Ozyakup quite making it here either, but they're very good prospects nonetheless - we're just chocked full in their positions)
