Anderson would have gone the way of Denilson had he been an Arsenal player. I watch a lot of United games and have probably only seen him play really well two or three times. One of those times was against us. You couldn't even talk to a United fan after that without being lectured on why Anderson was better than Fabregas. Don't confuse player quality with coaching.
It's not coaching, it's the fact that since he has been in the team he has had better players around him, and experience everywhere, especially in the key positions. A nothing player like Anderson can float through most games without doing much at all and the impact is barely felt.
We have less proven class and experience, but our main problem is we don't put the ones we do have with that class and experience on the pitch together often enough, and so young players, really talented young players at that, are asked to carry much more responsibility than is fair. It's no surprise that some flounder. Anyway, this is old news and we all know about it. It just irks me when some see it all so black and white - "he looks good for them so he must be better than what we have" - it's not that simple. There are very few young players that could come into the present Arsenal team, with all that has surrounded it in the last 6 months, and really stand up and perform. I don't think any of those United players named could, that's for sure.
