No one can bring themselves to kick it to Wenger for what is actually his responsibility (AKA the football team), its a bit like a relative who has gone sour but you have had hard times so it is difficult to marry the old excellent view you have with the current terrible reality.

The Board is responsible for giving Arsene the power and not holding him accountable for his use of resources to better the club, however Arsene is responsible for himself and all his failings are his they aren't the CEO's or owner's. Wenger is the problem but if the same board are left to find a replacement we will just get another clod who isn't held up to the ambitions that a club with resources like ours should be striving for.
