All depends on your perspective I guess. Obviously results have been very, very disappointing since 2005, and in retrospect it's bitterly disappointing that the team Wenger built that went the league unbeaten wasn't able to snatch a Champions League trophy.
But we're a very big, very wealthy, and very successful club by any sane measure that considers the whole spectrum of footballing achievement. One of the absolute biggest, financially.
Even during our trophy drought, the level we've set in terms of performance remains the envy of many historic clubs in England.
I'm tired of the holding pattern of the current manager and I doubt we'll win anything next season, but I do think that he'll sign a forward for more than £20m this window. I hope that at some point in the near future Wenger will push on and we can throw our weight around under a manager who's a bit more Sun Tzu than Lao Tzu.
