Not quite the same though is it.
Had a good enough squad to go through to the latter stages of the competition between 2002 & 2005. We just never did because it took Wenger a while to work out how to 'do' Europe.

Yeah, we were incredibly lucky with injuries that season and fielded basically the same 13/14 players for every game.

There has been something about Arsene these past couple of seasons that's made me think that he will leave at the end of this contract. He may as well throw every resource that he has, all those new tools at his disposal, into making us really competitive for next season.
