Gustavo, more energy.
Gustavo is top notch and will be a great foil for our attacking players as well as getting involved himself. He was top of the list of DMs for me over this summer and it would be great for the club to pick him up from bayern.

Gustavo or Fellaini? (Regardless of the price)
They have similar pros and cons, positioned in each end of the scale. Fellaini isn't much good as a centre mid while Gustavo contributes very little to the overall game. Neither one is the permanent solution but we do miss someone with Gustavo's skillset, whereas we have plenty of Fellainis in the squad. Like the fact that he's an able defender too.
Fellaini is a liability in a deeper position.

Don't care about any compilations. I've watched Bayern all season. He's a defensive specialist if I ever saw one. It's not a bad thing, but let's not pretend that we're signing a midfielder with great range here.
He didn't play as a DM for Hoffenheim though, he was pretty much box to box and very involved in their attacking plays.
as long as he can keep the ball moving quickly and crisply, while at the same time cover space tenaciously he'll be a valuable asset.
Only sketchy reports so far. Looks like they are all coming from the radio talk his agent did.
Wenger confirmed we're interested.

Who else do you think we could go for instead?
He did?

He was asked by a journalist after yesterday's game if we had agreed to sign Gustavo and he replied by saying, "there is nothing concrete yet". Sounds like he's working on it.

Hernanes. Would love Lars Bender too but his type is a little more common. Hernanes would make a superb Arteta replacement in a year or two, and could play alongside him until then.
You like cabaye too don't ya big KDazzler
Aye, Cabaye would be another very good signing. Expect him to be back to his best this season. I think it depends on what we want to do with Ramsey and Wilshere though. I don't think Wenger wants to leave either one out of the starting eleven.
Wenger needs to seriously rotate the midfield this season. Arteta is getting past the point where he can play every game, Santi was way over used last season and it effected him at times, Jack needs to be eased back into things and who knows with Aaron, he looks superfit but he only played half of last season and his injury history means we need to be careful too.
This reminds me lots of summer biz still to be done. Utd, us, Spurs, Cfc and maybe even city will buy.
Rooney, Suarez, Bale deals should be catalysts for other transfers!
Trying to control myself and not get excited, but this one is very widely reported now.
