suarez is worth £40 mill to us because he'd be a huge improvement on giroud. is gustavo that much better than what we already have?
he'd be the best defensve mid at he club, and is capable of slotting in the back four. easily worth 15m for the ingredients he brings

£14 million sounds about right for him. I don't really like the player type to be honest but he'll come in handy for now. He'll do more good for us than any other midfielder we've been linked to this summer.
I don't think he's a Makelele type at all, he's tenacious enough.

That too. However, plenty of transfers from Bundesliga without the exorbitant fees, and I can well see Bayern letting a player they don't really want go for a decent fee.
I think he is very underrated by many here. But then again, Gilberto is underrated here as well.
I feel Gustavo has abit more to his game than just being a destroyer though. 14m for him would be perfect, it makes so much sense this transfer.
He's more Ze roberto than Gilberto.
