Pretty much the exact 20m euro that Wolfsburg's accepted bid was said to be. Just have to get the contract sorted.

Ofcourse. I was only trying to point out that Sagna would have probably been considered a legend for his service to the club, for his commitment in every game if we had won trophies over the last 6 seasons that he has been here.

I think when he's gone he'll be held in higher esteem than he is right now. Thats usually how it works with players like him.

Been incredibly good, probably the best defender in the back four for most of his time here?

Been so good that he was arguably the best right back in the league for most of his time here?

What a signing this lad would be, we've needed somebody like Gustavo since Gilberto left.

Yes, he'd be an absolutely amazing fit for us. Arteta has been brilliantly consistent since his arrival but he's been a liability in Europe especially with his lack of mobility. Quick players just knocks the ball past him and then he's resorted to making a clumsy foul. Gustavo will give us that mobility and tenacity to shield the back four that we've lacked for a long time. Song was a lumbering oaf aswell so getting Gustavo in would really make a welcome change.

Fingers crossed that we don't fuck this one up and that we can have him on the bench in the weekend vs Villa.
