He won't be taking us anywhere with that attitude. Yes, yes, I know he is probably right in general, but I am more worried about his DESIRE to secure a great striker.

Availability? I don't care who is 'available' MAKE them available with a BIG offer. We are stuck with a mediocre mentality for another few years but at least please just put some fecking effort in.

That striker will need some real PUSH, not waiting to see who RM offer you at the last minute.

I guess my main point is that we should be hearing REALLY positive statements from now on. This is just 'more of the same' talk. Arsenal and Wenger know that the fans need to hear some fighting talk and they cannot even be bothered to pretend.

Cech and Szszesny are both on 16 clean sheets for the season, next week if Cech doesn't play and Szczesny keeps a clean sheet we could have our first golden glove winner, might have to add that to the growing list of trophies.

Quite annoying to see us 4 points off the top going into the last week. You just have to think:
We suffered those catastrophic defeats. I'd be fine with losing those games by 1 or 2 goals. What hurts is that each time in the aftermath of these games (Liverpool, Chelsea, City), we went off and drew the next game with a very conservative. That's upto 6 points farted away because the team was trying to regroup in the wake of a punishing. Together the beatings and the draws accounted for 15 points. If we'd just clawed back 4 or 5 of those points, we'd be right in it.

If we're gonna fall short I'd rather have the consistency against the small teams. It's a good foundation. We can do better against the 'top 7' with a better squad.

Actually, Innvervision, I beg to differ. I'd rather have the consistency against big teams and inconsistency against bad teams like Chelsea has had. It's easier to solve Chelsea's problem. They just need to outplay smaller teams now (by actually playing football, Hazard might say). We have done exceptionally well to consistently beat the teams that we really should be beating

But our problem against big teams is worrying. We get absolutely spanked by any big side. That's not just about better matchday tactics. That's about acquiring quality players and improving the psychology as well.
