This is from Bloomberg Sport who has made this based on stats. Not that it speaks the truth but it'd honestly be very disappointing to finish 4th after the season we've had and the improvements we've made from prior seasons.

Same here, especially since 79 points isn't much better than our total from last season, but the differences in quality/performances is there for everyone to see.

That's sad and pathetic, and fits in well with what followed over the following years in that fixture, and against Drogba. About time we ended that record against Mourinho and returned to winning ways at Stamford Bitch.

The dropped points against ManU (home and away) and Stoke (away) make it imperative that we beat BOTH Chelsea and City if we want to win the league.

Nah, but we probably need 4 points from those games to at least be in with a chance. With Man City's games in hand it is difficult to gauge which of those would be the best to win of course.

Both seasons we had amazing consecutive win sequences that won both titles respectively.

As I said last nite we need the same.

What's interesting is that we have yet to have a defining moment of our season so far.....

Don't rule out a late wobble by Liverpool. They bottled it in 2009.

It's still Chelsea's to lose IMO.

Liverpool have momentum. But two months ago City had momentum and last month it was Chelsea. Just hope Pool cool off. What Pool and City have is the ability to overcome their dodgy defenses. Our best hope is Pool lose one of Sturridge or Suarez for a few weeks. In the absence of that things look grim for the near future.

There are so many decisive moments that we can regret on to be fair. Theo's injury, the missed chance to go 7 points clear against Everton, failure to beat Utd both home and away, Stoke's loss, Southampton draw. Its pivotal we just go for it with no regrets now. Fuck it.

Well said Clrnc - there's been plenty of blips for very team. Certain ones strike followers more harshly but they all impact the title chance.

I find the United games more painful than Theo/Ramsey losses as the prior was in our control.

Every challenger that doesn't win the title will always have regrets. There's always bad results, bad transfer windows or injuries etc. The reality is every team, including the winners, will have those same issues.

I too think Liverpool will win it. Crazy thought and nobody would have given them a chance at the beginning of the season but their attack has made the difference.
