Pace isn't one of Higuain's strengths. Whenever Real Madrid played clubs with quick defenders (notably CL) he was in pocket.

Going with a centre forward that is mobile, technical and quick is the way to go, rather than a tall, slow target man who can head the ball, which wenger had decided is his choice of striker.
