Good read. To scrap the back pass rule has to be the best thing the powers that be have done to the game since as far back as I can remember. The last couple of years when it was still allowed were pretty dismal since the time wasting was a lot more systematic then.
Personally, I think video technology will be the next major leap forward for the sport. To clarify - for me, goal line technology is merely the first step.
