Apart from quality shot technique, I don't think he's got much left in his game. That's not to say he isn't a good player though, he's fucking good, but will never be as good as Henry IMO despite his price tag.
Bale has something like 20 goals and 20 assists in 40 matches. There's a lot more to him than just pace and power...
Fantastic stats, but this is an example of why I have a problem with people using stats to prove how good a player is. I have watched over 90% of the matches Bale has played for Madrid so far, and I'd say he's been average at best despite those phenomenal stats. He was always going to score insane amount of goals with his set of qualities in a counter attacking team like Madrid. Bale would become a laughingstock playing for a team like Barca (where he'll be forced to play more often in tight spaces, think quickly and play the right pass in a congested area etc).

You never know, he is already much better than Henry at the same age, he still can improve in a lot of aspects.
People always loved to put Bale down, especially Arsenal fans who used to bring out Theo's stats to compare. There is so much more to Bale's game and he is undoubtedly a top top player since last season. Neymar in comparison for the same amount of money Bale costed is alot more disappointing.
Good thing you mention this, I'd say go through that thread and you'll see I was the one defending Bale, I always maintained he was better than Walcott despite both of them having similar stats.
As for him becoming a better player than Henry, I hate speaking in absolute terms, but I'd say that is never going to happen. He might end up with more career goals/assists to his name, but he'll never be as a good footballer as Henry was.
