I just think its silly some posters can dismiss him due to only their hatred of the guy.
Plenty of people hate Ferguson, probably to a far greater extent than Mourinho. Yet you'll find no one that questions his ability.
Winning the league with Chelsea and Real were bare minimums and I don't consider either of those spells particularly impressive. Inter was impressive but I'd have liked to have seen him stay longer and maintain that level of success. He's obviously a top level manager but not the genius he's painted as, or used to be painted as.
That's why I don't buy the 'proven all over Europe' line. It's far harder to maintain a high level of success at one club, through the ups and downs and the transition periods. It's why I'm surprised he came back to Chelsea, unlike his previous jobs it's actually a big challenge.
