Think the set up there in recent times hasn't helped, neither has their chronic injury problems. He is a top defender, that much is for sure. Think he is nailed on to join Man Utd though unfortunately.

Gundogan looked like a pile of crap against Bayern the other day. Oh, and he also looks overweight. Only towards the end did he play any meaningful passes at all, but most of the game he spent not showing for the ball, and misplacing passes when he did get the ball. First Bender did most of the heavy lifting defensively, and when he ran out of steam from doing the work of two players he was replaced by Kehl who did the defending of two people.

Finally got round to watching the German cup final last night, and I am now firmly set in my opinion that Gündogan is someone I really, really don't want here. He has been atrocious every time I have seen him this season. He looks terribly unfit, he doesn't show for the ball enough, and there is no longer any dynamism to his game at all. He is good on the ball of course, but everything else seems to be lacking these days.

Midfield is already pretty fucking brilliant with Vidal, Gündogan and Schneiderlin. Funnily enough, Gündogan would be brilliant playing with those two. In our team - not so much.

I want Vidal purely because he's badass, but i actually have no idea how we could fit him in tactically as we cant leave Rambo out wide permanently, we would lose so much creativity if he replaces Cazorla and he isnt defensive/disciplined enough to replace Coq. 😆

Of course he is. He played a lot as a DM in Germany, and he is absolutely ace.

Sterling wouldn't even be a nailed on starter for us next season IMO. Reus or Götze would be just that.

Don't think it's a given that Götze will have a better season than Sanchez and Wilshere.
