I have a really big feeling that Rooney will be Torres-esque for whoever he signs for.

I think he'll have a great season, get injured around March, rushed back for the world cup and then play like a donkey in 2015.

Nah. Rooney is much more naturally gifted, so he could never plunge to the depths of crappiness that Torres has.

I've get the impression Wenger really really wants Rooney and he'll do everything he can to make him sign for us. I would prefer Suarez but for instant impact, Rooney would be devastating in a team like ours. I always felt we needed a creative striker more than 'just' a goalscorer.

Mourinho really is going all out o sign Rooney. After missing out on Falcoa, Cavani Rooney seems their last hope. Don't think they want Suarez for PR reasons.

I am sure we are working on the Rooney deal for a long time before Mou/CFC stepped in. If we are able to convince Rooney he should be ours.

Besides, Gus has vetoed pretty much every top, established player on the market for one reason or another; too slimy, dived against us 10 years ago, doesn't like their face, ex Manc, ex Barca etc, etc. There's a reason to hate everyone I guess.

either one of them or higuain; don't care which one of them as long as we get one of them. there aren't really any other viable options out there and i don't want to see giroud as our main striker next season!

If Suarez doesn't do anything really stupid while at Arsenal, people won't laugh at us. Wenger got van Persie's mind straight (when it comes to behavior, that is) and he can do it with Suarez. Of course you don't think there are positive sides of Wenger, so you won't believe this.

A new club is a chance of a new start for Suarez, and even though he's a total scumbag, I trust that if Wenger signs him he will at least improve some. Behaviorally speaking, that is.
