I saw those comments yesterday and thought they were both a cunty thing to say and a particularly stupid thing to say. Maybe I've just got used to the class and intelligence that Wenger always brings to these sorts of situations.

I hope Rooney just does what they want him to do and slaps in a transfer request.

It's a contractual thing, I gather. Something about the request voiding any loyalty-based pay-off.

Never heard that, only know that he wouldn't put in a transfer request even though everyone in the football world knew he wanted to go to Barcelona, and was "injured" and refused to play.
If and that's a big if what you say is true- Why didn't he just slap in a request? what was all the DNA bollocks about?

Doesn't particularly bother me if transfer threads are a little off track but if it really bothers you do not bring him up then Biggus, it always attracts comment and response.
