It is laughable though. Barcelona bang on and on about there ability to make stars and bring through their own great players. The last couple of seasons the only use they've had for their younger players is to offer them out as makeweights for expensive signings, or to sell them to fund new signings.

River Plate have just been relegated in Argentina.

Is that a big deal? Can't say I know much about Argentine football, but River Plate and Boca Juniors are the two clubs I've known since I was little.

It's a huge deal out there that's for sure. River are definitely one of the biggest clubs in South America.
