They all matter but some games matter more than others in a way. For example, during the business end of the season when you know what will win you the title. Let's not forget CL knockout ties which we are so so bad at.

Not really i don't think they do.

Wenger has proven time and time again that he is lacking when push comes to shove. Most recently during the 2007-08 season when we were in for the title.

Champions League every season we predictably fall short.

Fair play we've had to play Barca twice so we can forgive Wenger there. 2006 was obviously brilliant. Can't fault him at all there, not even after the Lehmann sending off.

But in general I can't see Wenger making important tactical changes that work in big games. Even in the CC final it was poor.

Outcoached Guardiola when we played Barcelona two years ago. His tactical changes won us that game. Wenger is a smart man who, I dare say, reads the game better than any manager in this league. His main problem is that usually all his good talent is already on the pitch unless someone's coming back from injury. It's fucking easy to be Alex Ferguson when you can just throw on Berbatov, Valencia and Hernandez if you need to turn a game. It's harder to do it when you've got Bendtner, Arshavin and Djourou at your disposal.

If I'm not mistaken those 10 wins were the most any team recouped from a losing position last season in Premier League. I remember reading some form of statistical summary that said as much.

i wish we had kagawa. wenger seems to be allergic to players who get in the box off the ball. how many times do you see us in possession with 5 players standing in place around the box, all looking to make the final pass to the runner that is not there?

It's funny but Ramsey is the player who is willing to get into the box as often as he can, shame he doesn't make the most of it.

Ramsey has a blindingly obvious confidence problem in front of goal. Once he uncorks himself he'll score a few, but can we wait?

May as well, we're waiting for everyone else to settle. Besides, I think Ramsey will be a better option this season now that he's likely to play a deeper role in midfield and we do need someone who can cover a lot of ground. If he can combine effort with efficiency he'll be a much better player for it.

Anyway, Ramsey will be second or third man off the bench if Wilshere's fit and Sahin comes on loan.

Depends on how Wenger sees Wilshere fitting in, given the presence of Arteta, Cazorla and possibly Sahin.

Let's suppose Wenger moves Cazorla wide (seems vaguely plausible) then midfield might be Arteta, Sahin, Wilshere with Diaby and Ramsey subs, which would fit your theory.

Kagawa is going to suffer if Fergie plays RVP. I am glad they won't fit both in a system.

Hopeful that Fergie keeps Kagawa on the bench and plays RVP in a 442. Then Kagawa gets disillusioned and gets sold 😉 Quite retarded to buy both in a summer tbh. Its always one or the other
