Good thing. I want Real to win the league, but lately it had been getting a bit boring. Want to see how/ if they can handle the pressure. There's one more Clasico left I think, and if they get twonked again as expected, it might make for an exciting last few league games.

Kilmarnock beat Celtic in the Scottish league cup this weekend, however the father of Killie player Liam Kelly died in the aftermath of the game from a heart attack. Very sad considering Muamba's current plight.

It should have been a day Kelly and his father would remember for the rest of their lives, this was Killie's first trophy in 15 years and the first they had won this cup in their history.

I'm amazed that both this and the Muamba incident both happened in the same weekend.

Just that it's not really amazing that one tragic and one near tragic incident happened around the same time.
Several people I knew have died over the past year, thats what happens as you get older, you get closer acquainted with death.

Klaus, how do you think Vucinic is doing playing on the left? Seem to remember you having your doubts about that. Not doing much defending, granted...

Nah, I've always rated Vucinic. He's a versatile guy who can play anywhere. My main grip with him is that he's a bit disappointing in terms of end product. I don't think he's ever scored more than 14 league goals in a season in Italy and that was while playing as the main striker.

What is your opinion on those tackles? You think the ref got it right?

I think Muntari was a clear red. Pepe would have broken his leg if he hadn't jumped. Aquilani looked like a yellow to me though. He went in hard because he got frustrated but it wasn't an ugly tackle.

Seriously, how good is Pirlo this season? I'm not sure I've seen him play like this since 2006. He was the best player in the World cup that year in my opinion. He's running close to that form at the moment. He's reinvented himself in Conte's system.

I think both Muntari and Aquillani should have had red cards. Aquillani more so since the ref already had screwed Milan over by not sending Muntari off. 🙂

Pirlo has been great this season and has really blossomed at Juve after a few poorer seasons, but the midfielder from Juve I´d take to Arsenal is still Vidal. We missed out there. 🙁

Vidal is very good but I think he's too rash. He makes Song look like a tactical genius at times. Like the other week when he got sent off, for instance. He benefits a lot from playing with two geniuses like Pirlo and Marchisio. The three-man defensive line means that he's less exposed too.
