I'd forgive a player clumsiness if they scored that many goals.

He's Bendtner at 27. If he were playing front and centre for a very good team, that plays incredibly attacking, open football, in a League where they're far, far better than nearly all they come up against.

I still can't believe Suarez managed to score so many goals for Ajax. He really is an average finisher at best, but then the Eredivisie is really poor.

He's one of those leech strikers that pop up every now and then in modern football. Darren Bent on steroids if you like.

He'll never be in the top bracket of player but he will do a job if used properly and that job will inevitably impact on the rest of his team. It's a little bit like the strange relationship that VanPersie and Walcott have but much worse because Robben and Ribery are actually brilliant players.

So based on all of that
Gomez - (Robben + Ribery) = Bent / Bendtner + 3 years.

There was a rumour that Bayern were after Bendtner?
Be interesting to see if he would actually morph into a prolific striker playing alongside Robben and Ribery.

Have to admit, even given the best of support and supply, I cannot see Bendtner ever scoring 41 goals in one season.
