Have to say I agree. He looked alert today against Villa but there's a bit of this year's Nasri feeling over him, isn't there? He got found out in Europe too where they were quicker to close him down.

No one else reckon that Cabaye has done enough to be included in the team of the season so far, by the way? He would be one of the first names on my teamsheet. Him, Arteta and Touré would make an excellent midfield.

Really have to hand it to Newcastle's scouting team. They have completed some remarkable business in the last two years, both in terms of purchase and sales. This summer, we should hire Graham Carr from Newcastle and ask him to repeat his magic for us. Maybe we'll finally rid ourselves Denilson and Chamakh, and then bring in some Cabaye/Ba-type signings

Neither Cabaye or Ba were unknowns, every club in Europe must have been aware of their talents. I expect Ba's medical troubles stopped him from being picked up by someone else while Cabaye played for title winning Lillie and the French NT.
