rsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed his interest in Sevilla midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been one of the stars of La Liga this season, having only joined Sevilla from Lens last summer.

The French youth international is now attracting interest from around Europe, with Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund all credited with an interest.

Now Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal are also in the reckoning, but he admits that 'everyone's after him'.

"I don't really want to talk about Kondogbia too much because everyone's after him at the moment," he told the Sun.

"When you ask 'Are you also interested?' what do you expect me to say?"

Is he that good? Never heard of the guy.

Meh. He ain't all that, only seen Sevilla a few times this seasons and on all occasions they were ripped apart and he was nowhere to be seen each time.

Much more likely than Cesc Fabregas, that's for sure.

20 years old and french, yep, definitely more likely.

Young, French big. Cue the inevitable new Vieira tags. Possibly though this is coming from the club or agent again, trying to get his much publicised release clause activated.

A Uchida thread might be needed too. I like him, and Japanese players in general are improving rapidly.

rather have pogba if we had to choose

Think the 8.5m release Klaus is only to free him from sevilla he also has third party ownership that's stalling any potential deal.

He's good, but there's no way we can sign him. 3rd party ownership, & all that.

I think he's too raw. Hollywood passing though I suppose he can learn

Time to lock. Monaco has announced the signing of Kondogbia
