I think Wenger has a similar ability. His problem though is in building that squad.

Starting to feel a bit sorry for Moyes, though I'm sure it'll pass.

Given the way Fergie has been allowed to spend over the years, dropping Moyes in the hot seat with about the same level of expectation and not bankrolling him with £60-70m is seriously unfair.

Agree, injuries have really slowed things down for him. He gave interview this pre season where he said he had been feeling the strain of playing a couple of games on the trot. If he stays fit, I think he will really come back to his old form towards the end of the year

Wow. So much over-analysis. It's appropriate. Shows respect to an opponent but also makes it clear that Cesc is not available. Thought the statement was well-worded

It was a straight compliment, I have no idea what any of you are on about.

How it could be "small time" to note that United, a club in a different league, are a top club I can't imagine. Fuck knows they've won every title, they're the biggest club by valuation, the current English champions etc etc.

It'd be much more petty and pathetic to pretend United were a two-bit operation and not fit to bid on a player whose heart belongs to 'més que un club' and so on.

Just the thought of him playing for United is a nightmare. Far, far worse than the Nasri and RvP situations. You have to wonder what is going on with everything being so public.
