In all seriousness, I don't think his ego would allow him to quit Barca just yet unless they shove him out the door, and I don't imagine they'd be that desperate to get rid of him. But there are plenty of reasons why he may want to come back, for one he's not valued there.
I don't believe for a second that his regret at never having captained Arsenal to a title would be enough motivation for him to return here this summer.
Given how he engineered his move to Barca I just don't buy all of that schmaltzy Arsenal is in my heart bs that he comes out with.
I wasn't being serious, that was mostly tongue in cheek at his supposed regret. Might have been real at the time but I doubt he feels much about it now.
Like I said, it would be more the fact that he was worshiped here while he's almost treated like a burden over there. Great players have big ego's so it'll hurt him that he's not playing in some of the biggest games or that the fans don't particularly like him. He wouldn't have to worry about that here. However, like I said, his ego may drive him to stick with Barca rather than come back here.
I don't know what goes on in his mind, but there are plenty of reasons why he may want to come back.
