hasn't happened to me before
Did somebody say servers?

Got the too many DB connections error page a few times last night. Either no one's heard of connection pooling or the real problem is something else.
SQL Error 1040 too many connections.
Sort it out Tim.

It was an issue with the server we're on (it wasn't an OMITT specific problem), but they say it has been fixed now.
I'm still getting it sometimes.
Me too. Just posted something three times due to a lag, deleted two and then the third disappeared. I'm quite lazy this evening so that's a whole lot of effort 🙂
Whole forum was running like Arshavin last night (or afternoon for you denizens of the prime meridian).
Yeah it's been working like Wenger up to the 60th minute mark in a game.
It's been as rigid as Biggus since some time yesterday. 😉
Its failed more times in the last 8 hours than we have in the last 8 years.
Goodness knows how it will handle the Wigan game.
I'm sure "sustainable" OMT will manage to limp back into fourth place among the cashed up, chavvy juggernauts of the modern Arsenal forum league.
Looks like Tims fixed it for the time being.
Looks like Tim's taken a lump hammer to the server this morning 🙂
Still getting loads of these errors
I've got it about 10 times this morning.
It's nothing to do with the site.
We will be performing extremely critical maintenence on Server 1 in the coming hours. Our severe connection issues over the past few days have been a result of a neighbor at our datacenter severely abusing his resources. Our datacenter does not follow an immediate suspension policy, so in our current position we are completely helpless. As such, I have opted to transfer us to another section of the datacenter where our neighbors will be much more considerate. Downtime is expected to last approximately 30 minutes during the migration, and I am not holding it off until tonight because the Server has been pretty unusable as of this point anyway. I am extremely sorry for all of this. As a forum owner myself, I understand that every minute of downtime is extremely aggravating for you and your members. Hopefully this migration will stop these problems permanently.

Cheers Pepe.

I never thought it was, seems okay now.
Thumbs up so far this evening.
