Even if he was the only signing this season I'd be well happy but yes we do need a need an proper striker. Sanchez is the kind of player who'll be good to go straight out of the box, wont need much adjusting to the EPL, he is a tough little nut.

Hardly. If Liverpool has any hope in hell of not being in breach of FFP next season they can't up their wage bill too much I reckon. I am also confident Wenger will offer the wages it takes for a player like Sanchez.

I'm a big fan of Sanchez but I still have a few reservations about him playing wide.

Someone said that James Rodriguez is a winger. If we're not going to get a striker we might as well lump all the money on him instead this summer. Monaco are struggling with the FFP at the moment. Throwing £50 million on him would make me feel better about starting the season with Gibbs, Debuchy and Giroud.

Hardly, if one of the reasons they want him is because they're selling Suarez.

James is flirting with Real Madrid already. Don't think Sanchez will do that.

Because Sanchez is already at Barcelona. Rodriguez is stuck at a two-bob club like Monaco that will get probably get thrown out of Europe the season after next unless they start selling some stars.

My opinion too. I see great potential in Rodriguez whereas I'm still not convinced that Sanchez will ever get the most out of his talent unless you put him centrally (and that's not going to happen).

Sanchez around £30m is hardly being ripped off. I think he is better than Rodriguez too.

Probably not at Liverpool with Sturridge but might happen at Arsenal. I would've thought Wenger went for Suarez to play him upfront instead of Giroud. Hopefully he might be thinking the same with Sanchez.
