Can any La Liga and Serie A aficionado give us the lowdown on Pablo Osvaldo, Roberto Soldado and Alvaro Negredo as i would hope we could upgrade Giroud without spunking £40m on the classless scouser ex-hero or the classless manc reject.

Can't speak much to Osvaldo, but both Negredo or Soldado would be good signings, big upgrades on Giroud, without being wet-the-bed exciting.
All i know is that Roma fans want rid of Osvaldo for some reason. He is definately not an upgrade on Giroud.
Osvaldo is a brainless player. Skillful but very erratic.

Weren't you of different opinion for Soldado just weeks ago?
Negredo is a poor man's Lewandowski, fucking mental City are forking out so much money for him.
Soldado scores goals and is always on the move, overall a decent striker but nowhere good enough to be a starter at a club like ours.

Why are City forking out so much money for Negredo and why are we bidding 35 million for a nutter like Suarez? I think it's simply because there is a dearth of top quality strikers out there and so the best of the lot go for inflated prices.
Market has widened and talent is being spread thinner than at any point over the last 10-15 years.

I don't really think either are brilliant players, and we were probably linked to Higuain at the time, who I'd prefer, but now I'm at the stage of having given up on signing anyone brilliant & am just hoping for a big upgrade on Giroud.
