Would rather we pushed for Higuain.
Jovetic

Hmmm
Useful.
Sorry, basically he says that he's happy to be watched by arsenal, he's always liked Arsenal and thinks that we are a big club and have a great history. He then closes by saying that one day, he might play there (at Arsenal).
I'm quite convinced we're going to sign him
Imagine it depends how the season ends.
He won't be best pleased at the thought of featuring in Europa league again, that's true.

I'll translate for the rest of those unlingualled plebs
"I'm an immense player, bring me to the table and I will be a hero. The Toure's had an affinity with arsenal, it's a big club with a big history. It's one of thousands of clubs in Europe." He then mentions a master chef dish containing sea bass

Hahaha, brilliant!

If Arsenal get CL and Fiorentina don't I'd say very likely
If we don't and they do then it's impossible
If we don't and they don't as well I'd say likely but not very likely
Fiorentina are 4 points behind Milan with 3 to play (Italy only has 3 cl spots)
Fiorentina play the bottom 3 clubs
Milan play the bottom 2 and Roma at home
I actually believe that
I think both are Wengery
Yeah, Jovetic and Rémy is quite believable.
Since you all believe goal/assist stats are everything, why are Jovetic's giroudesque in the last two seasons?
We'll let Klaus field that question
Good question Patty. Lets see THEM answer it. Fucking plebs.
Didn't he have a long term injury at one point in the last two seasons? Also I think he should be played in the hole behind the striker. Wouldn't surprise me if Wenger is able to turn him into a striker since that is his forte but I still would like him playing behind the striker. Why do people like Remy so much? He looked lost against us on Saturday despite having a few opportunities.
Jovetic plays a bit like a young van Persie (even has the tall but not filled out frame), and I imagine Wenger will mould him similarly - using his touch and technique to find space, bring others into play, and take shots for himself.
As for Remy - he's a better Theo. Similar problems mind.

Some more Hova and another striker targeted.
I would take Dzeko in a heartbeat.
Same, would be a great signing.
Yep. He is bascially what Giroud should be.
It would be utterly brilliant if we can sign Jovetic + a forward. Higuain prefably.
If Bayern sign a striker we should really look at either Gomez or Mandzukic. Along with Jovetic of course.
Rumour is that Gomez will be off to replace Cavani.
Gomez to Napoli? Can they afford his salary?
Either way, not keen on him at Arsenal given the fee and wages.
Jovetic on his own isn't enough for us.
He'd frustrate us bigtime.
Walcott - Jovetic - Cazorla
Villa/Remy/Benteke
Could work. It would be brilliant if the club really pushed the boat out and brought in Lewandowski, Cavani or Gomez though, as well as Jovetic.
Jovetic + Higuain/Benteke/Remy
Imagine if Wenger went mad and got Jovetic, Higuain and Remy.
Getting rid of Giroud, Bendtner and Park in the process
Jovetic would be a good image signing.
I'd rather Benteke. Guy is an animal.
The way I'm currently thinking is Benteke plus Remy with a creative mid

Forgot we had him
He's got 4 goals in 24 appearances for Celta Vigo, according to Wikipedia, not great tbh.
I honestly do think that we will sign Jovetic AND a striker. In order I would take: Lewandowski, Higuain, Benteke, Dzeko. Any of those 4 would score 20+ EPL goals as a focal point with Jovetic, Cazorla, Wilshere, Walcott and Ramsey providing service. Heck, Giroud has scored 11. Still think he would be a good squad player and have a similar return with less games next year.
Jovetic over Remy by a mile. We should only sign Remy if we can get rid of duds and have spare money after signing Jovetic and Higuain/Benteke/Michu/Lewandowski/Mandzukic etc etc

Poachers, edge of the box, volleys, left foot, right foot, no headers and some really bad goalkeeping. Nice little round up, but would have preferred to see more goals - i.e. he's not prolific is he.
Thanks for the link.
No, not prolific, if he were a 20 plus a season guy already he'd be out of our range
They're already looking for £25m or so.
His control of the ball at his feet is something else though and he's striking with either foot. Top dribbler as well and for those with a fear of midgets, he's 6 foot tall.
My main concerns are that he's not looked super quick any time I've seen him play and he has had a big injury already in his career.
He's deceptively quick. Gets by on skills and movement rather than pace though.
Anyway, the main concern isn't that he can't play centreforward in England. He's a complete player who can do pretty much what he wants as long as he gets the ball at his feet. Playing with Cazorla and Wilshere will be good for him in this regard. I can see Wenger turning him into something similar to van Persie but it's going to take time. Starting to warm to the idea though. Maybe we can get 15 league goals out of him next season. Having a skillful player like him centrally could bring a lot out of Podolski and Walcott too. Main areas for concern are that he's a bit injury prone and doesn't like physical duels very much.
Another thing to consider is that the market price for strikers is insane at the moment. Either you spend £45 million on someone like Cavani or Falcao or you buy someone like Jovetic who has all the attributes and then you build the player yourself. Meanwhile you use the largest chunk of the transfer budget to improve the defence and midfield instead. Looking at our team at the moment I have to say that the latter strikes me as a better idea. We need two defenders and at least one midfielder this summer. A goalkeeper and a rightfooted wide man would be a big plus too.
