they didn't even bother trying to pretty her up for the role.
Yeah. Farahani is on another level.

Despite the latest films' horribleness, they never did have iconic quotes such as "Medically, she's completely healthy. For reasons we can't explain, we are losing her. She has lost the will to live", which is literally a line from one of the medical staff in that movie.
It's delivered by a robot doctor too who looks like a sad Wall-E, because why not spend a million on shitty CGI to deliver one of the film's key emotional moments š
I swear, if any of these films had been my first contact with Star Wars I would have defected to the Percy Jackson franchise instead.
Been running a movie club with friends and had some great picks/discussions. I recommended Incendies - which is great, but perhaps a little scarring for some....not sure how this week's discussion is going to go.
Lockdown has made me discover so many great series on Netflix.
Into the night, Caliphate, Dark
Invisible Guest and Platforms are pretty cool movies too
I assume you mean the The Platform, the Spanish one? Been meaning to watch that.
Yeah that one. Reminds me a little of snowpiecer to be honest.
The Platform is a solid flick yeah. Carries the allegory a lot better than Snowpiercer. Also, just discovered Snowpiercer is now a series.
From what I've heard unfortunately the series is pretty bad.
Da 5 bloods was uneven but memorable viewing. Delroy lindo is an underrated actor, and gave one my favorite performances in recent years
Anyone into Taiwanese show for a change, The Victim's game on netflix is pretty decent
Iām watching Da 5 Bloods and all I can think about is what the fuck was America doing in Vietnam? Is it any different from Iraq 2.? Illegitimate large scale foreign interventions with countless lives lost
