Toy Story is a weird franchise. Every time they make a new one I'm not interested at all, and every time it turns out to be great. Happened again now with the fourth one. Must be in contention with LotR for most consistently great franchise. Unless of course the Hobbit ones count, in which case LotR isn't in that conversation.
Also have a friend who's really into horror movies and wants me to see them with him, but usually try to put on some trash on Netflix, so I've tried to at least steer him in the directions of the ones I've heard were good. Seen the two The Conjuring movies and The Witch (The VVitch?), and I have to say I liked all three a lot. The Conjuring ones are very conventional, but done well, while The Witch is something else obviously. People who expect a normal horror movie (like my friend) probably don't like it, but I thought it was the best of the bunch. Looked gorgeous as well.
