Went to see BvS tonight. Too much in one movie, I guess DC wanted to establish their own universe before the whole world gets tired of superhero movies.

Batfleck, he's honestly a great Batman.
Some of the fighting scenes.
Some of the cinematography. Wonder if Snyder should be a cinematographer instead, because he's not a great director.
The trailer spoiled the entire movie.
Too long.
Henry Cavill isn't a good actor, and they chose him to be the leader of their cinematic universe.
Why did they introduce the last part of the movie? Unnecessary.
The CGI fest at the end.
(kind of spoiler): Batman is running around killing people, and they don't explain it? It's a big part of the character that he doesn't kill.

Last week I watched this really racist film where Gerard Butler went to London and killed all the arabs. Today I watched this really racist film where Gerard Butler went to fantasy Egypt and killed everyone. Sometimes I feel like Hollywood are running out of ideas.

On a brighter note I watched Whiskey Tango Foxtrot yesterday. That was easily the best film I've seen in the past six months or so. Watch it people.

I was about to get out to watch WTF but the reviews weren't encouraging. More of a drama than a comedy? Looked like a leave your brains at home fun movie from the trailers.

You went to the cinema to see both London has Fallen and Gods of Egypt? 😆 The latter looked absolutely terrible from the trailer. The former has gotten almost exclusively bad reviews, so I haven't bothered.

i had a feeling this would be mediocre after seeing one of the trailers. i'm going to see it for free tonight but not expecting much

Agree with this. The movie was a huge disappointment for me. There are loads of parts that just didn't even make sense. Especially the part where Superman was "forced" to fight Batman.

Thought Hateful eight was decent. I totally understand where the criticism is coming from, and I mostly agree, but still a more than alright way to spend a few hours. Also seen Bridge of Spies, finally, and IMO that is a very good movie. A bit slow perhaps.

I absolutely loved the Watchmen movie, and thought it rather than 300 established Z Snyder's creds.

BvS was a scandalous mess though.

Well, I had picked off everything else at the AMC. I've spent five days in San Francisco with a badly damaged leg. I needed to kill time somehow.

Count me in on the BatmanVSuperman was a horrible mess gang.

That's not the main problem I have with it though.

All the way through the movie I was thinking atleast after this Zack Snyder-mess of a moneygrab Affleck will do some fine solo-Batman flicks, probably direct them himself too. Lord knows he's ten times the director. But now all signs point towards this is getting a sequel with some kind of Avengers remake superhero cirklejerk bullshit? All I know is it's gonna be horrible, just like this one was. I really have no idea how this wave of every comic book ever made getting on TV or the big screen happened but it's really starting to get on my tits. It's pretty much all bad, the Nolan movies being the exception, and now Affleck has to waste his obvious directing talent on this lousy film series. It's gonna be a triology too, I can guarantee it. What a mess, from beginning to end.
