I think he's trying to overcompensate by trying to be 'one of the gang' due to the fact that he's only been there a year and isn't likely to be there for much longer considering his age. This interview isn't so bad since I think most people who follow football were gobsmacked (apart from Wenger, apparently 😆 ) but his comments and actions over the season have been cringe worthy.

He's always been idealistic, but now that it's clear there's no substance to it, it just looks pathetic.

He really is a lying tosser, he barely knew Ferguson.

Now he has to face the fact that he's going to be playing under Moyes for the rest of his career. 😆

I know Moyes is respectable and all that, but there is no way someone like RvP will be happy about this. Aside from the certainty that was Man United under Fergie, Moyes just seems like the type of controlling manager from the sidelines that RvP would hate. Just my opinion.

At least Nasri and Fabregas don't go on about it, this guy carries on as if Ferguson was his mentor instead of Wenger.

Slimy is how I'd describe him. The facile false reasoning back from results to the wrong causes could hardly be more evident either.

Well I hope he enjoyed his PL title because he won't be winning another one now that Jose is back.

Sometimes you carry on as if it was Jose that won us those league titles and not Wenger.

I reject your reality and substitute one of my own. 🙂

Do you really need me to post links to the official record of the winners of the CL PL FA and league cup since 2006?

Can't blame Biggus for buying into the hype.

Do you really need me to post links to the nett player spending and squad members for Chelsea and Arsenal since 2006?

Please God, no!! I think I am now at a stage where I can accept that Biggus has his own version of the truth, and I can actually live with him expressing his beliefs without it being annoying to me. Somewhat.

I said 'somewhat'. 🙂

I think its sad that Biggus has been driven to a point where he now wants Chelsea to do better than Arsenal.

Well you have no choice, because I've been right for the last 5 years and you've been wrong.

Do you believe we have a chance of winning the title next season?

Yeah, I concur. 🙂

They have a lot of overbearing fake fans in my side of the world. There is no club whose downfall will give me more pleasure than Man United.

Thats the part with the sky above it yeah?

Are you gay?

So you haven't answered the question.

Because it was a silly one beneath my dignity to answer Tony, just like my question to you. 😉

a month later

"This is a little skill I've been working on. I call it 'goal kick'."

Thought Moyes was a good appointment at first but he looks like flailing already. Struggling to deal with Rooney, crazy excuses for not getting Thiago. He should rising above answering on every issue. Hopefully he continues in this fashion.

Half think this reported Mata plus cash deal for Rooney is just a psych-out … anyone else agree? Would be like Mourinho to try aggressively to derail Moyes' authority.

I think Chelsea may be putting the word out that Mata and Luiz are actually available.

I guess it's hard to believe Mata would be. Luiz I can well believe.

I see United's chief executive has rushed home from Australia to conduct some "urgent transfer business." What's ours doing?

Also Hazard...
