It's a drab team. Not dynamic enough. There's not one player I'd have from that

It's a top four team - much better than Liverpool's best XI, currently not a million miles away from Arsenal and City's best XI and much weaker than Chelsea's best XI - and that's with a lot of United's strengthening done, with hopefully more to come from us.

Whatever happens they won't end the window with a player as good as Koscielny, Ramsey, Özil or Sanchez in their team.

It cracks me up when I see/hear United fans ripping into City and Chelsea fans about buying players, United still think they produce players through their youth team etc, whereas they have nobody coming through of any use.

Yes last and this years 'big thing' is Wilson, but I we have heard that before with the likes of Luke Chadwick and Chris Eagles (they were going to be the next big thing once upon a time).

United haven't produced a player that plays regularly for the first team since the likes of Ryan Giggs and David Beckham et al.

Unless that is, you listen to my mate Nick who will tell you quite seriously that Rooney and Ronaldo came through the youth system at United... I kid you not.

United these days, especially with LVG in charge will just spend, spend, spend.

Their midfield completely ran us over at Old trafford this year and it's improved big time.

I don't know how anybody can say they've not improved much with looking through blinkered eyes.

At the moment it seems De Gea will stay till the summer next year so they've got the best GK in the league
Chances are quite high IMO that Darmian will be better than their regular RB Valencia last year.
Midfield and Wing have been improved.

They're likely to buy a big forward and a CB too.

No one is saying they haven't improved. But they've spent almost 1/4 of a billion in the last 3 seasons and have the highest wage bill in the league, you expect more than just 'improvement' for that sort of money, you'd expect them to be outright favourites for the league, especially when you consider that was their starting position.

We finished in 2012 in3rd and we've spent 200m since then over and finished third too.
