Xbox seems to have a common problem with the disc drive and PS4 consoles are being reported as DOA.

If there was a game that I really wanted on either console, I'd have just bought one anyway and I'm sure there is enough value there for many people but I've no interest in a first person shooter or a driving sim.

The controller looks great to me, miles better than the standard ones for stuff like FPS or cursor based games. Though whether it'll be good enough to lure PC gamers away from the mouse and keyboard remains to be seen.

Want to see what they do with Oculus Rift, too.

I don't really get the point of the Steam Box, the best PC games are great on the PC. Why change it?

Well personally speaking I've outgrown the impracticalities of owning a pc for gaming. A console appeals to me for that reason but I've little interest in bastardised console versions of pc genres, at least the way they do them now, so I'm interested in what the Steam Box can do.

Gave up on gaming on PC years ago. Too damn expensive to keep a top computer. PS3 was defo the way for me. I don't play that many titles though, so I am not exactly the most demanding customer out there.

As for the PS4, I certainly want one, but will wait a year or so for various reasons.

Amazon e-mailed me about my pre-ordered PS4 yesterday. I got excited when I see the mail there, hoping for a definite delivery date instead it informed me they could not yet inform of the delivery date. Thanks Amazon you tease.

Ordered my Nintendo Wii U today, £199.99 on Amazon with Rayman and some Lego game on their Black Friday deals. Will get rid of Lego game but might keep Rayman, need to buy some more games now but will wait and see if there are any deals tomorrow. Expensive few days ahead.....

Lego City or whatever it's called is actually alright. Not game of the year and I wouldn't buy it full price, but if it's in the box anyway.

I always say I'll get rid of things but usually just leave them laying around and forget. Like that XBOX One I've got laying around that I haven't returned yet....

A friend of mine has two in his hallway that he isn't allowed to give away and hasn't even the slightest impulse to open. Does some work for Microsoft and occasionally has to try a function or game out but beyond that, no interest whatsoever.

My cousins friend has told me he will buy it off me on Sunday so if that falls through I'd be happy to post or you can come and collect.
