Sony were late in replacing the PS1, late in releasing the PS3 and lost out to inferior products from Nintendo and Microsoft so now, maybe, they are trying to address this by jumping the gun?
It will only be out a couple of months before xbox 3. But I have no interest in a microsoft console, so it makes no difference to me.
