Think the last one I played through completely was crisis core on the psp; was decent enough. 100 percented 12 as well, but couldn't get to grips with 13.

Exact same for me. The last i played was crisis core and it was pretty good. Didn't touch 13 or 13-2 or whatever the heck they released after that.

I've played most after 6 and have gripes with each.

Contrary to popular opinion I love 12, graphics and gameplay were great for me, they're all easy to get into but if you want to start out with one then go with ff x or 9. The graphics from 7 and 8 (mainly 7) don't hold up that well nowadays and 7 is really really easy to get the best of everything.

Will be getting the new 500GB PS3 tomorrow. It's out today but it's being bundled with FIFA tomorrow when that's released. Was planning to get one last weekend then a couple of days before the planned purchase they announced the new model - lucky it wasn't a couple of days after. Looks like some good deals on offer - going to go with a bundle for NZ$494 (approx 248 pounds) which includes an extra controller, FIFA 13, an essentials game (ie, Little Big Planet) and an HDMI cable. I've also got about $80 or so worth of PS2 games to trade in to knock that off the price too.

Looking forward to some FIFA games with any of you guys who will have it on PS3.

Maybe a bit late getting to the PS3 market but we always had one at home (my brother's) and I already have some of my own games for it but I haven't got my own one since moving away 3 years ago. Now I have my own place and a good TV so am getting one. 🙂

Just got the $494 bundle which includes FIFA 13, Little Big Planet, 2nd controller and HDMI cable. The PS2 games I traded in came to $108 off the price which was about $30 more than I'd expected so pretty good deal. Who's up for a game of FIFA 13 then? Let me know your playstation IDs. I used to have an account as invisibleman18 but it hasn't been used since I was back living with my parents and brother, I assume it's still active though. I remember playing a few of you guys on FIFA 09 and 10.

That is awesome. I'm not even going to bother with FIFA this year. PES looks better than it's been for half a decade.

I am too lazy to learn a second set of controls. Opted for FIFA about a decade ago and I'll probably stick with that series as long as I am into football games. 🙂

Personally, I feel that Fifa's animation encroaches on the game and doesn't feel as fluid as PES. Pes has serious issues of it's own but that's enough for me.

I've never seen or heard anyone try to say PES is still better except on this forum. Its so shit now.

Anyway FIFA 13 is buggy as shit. They need to patch it ASAP

Haven't notice too many major bugs so far although I only had a few games in the weekend. Main thing is that once you have chosen Arsenal as your favourite club you have Van Persie in an Arsenal kit on your home page. Need to sort that out ASAP. Only annoying thing in the games so far have been the injuries. I've had someone go down with a sprained knee in every game so far.
